ELECTROGLINT

"ELECTROGLINT" society of Electronics and Communication Department (Chair Person Mr. Vaibhav Purwar) had its voting on 27 September. The members were elected as Sudhashu Pandey(President), Shishir Sharma & Gaurav Tiwari(Vice President). The working committee was decided as Shashank Gautam (Activity Controller Head) Vivek Singh Rathor (Technical Head) Rahul Gupta (Web Designing Head) & Sonam Kumari (Literary Head). The following events were organized by the society:

  • ELECTROSAGA : A workshop on "BASIC ELECTRONIC" under "ENGINEERS CLUB" of society was organized on 15 Oct 2011
  • QUIZMANTRA : A "TECHNICAL QUIZ" under "LITERARY CLUB" of society was organized on 22 Oct.
  • Formation of college first "ROBOTRIX CLUB" under the society on "5th November 2011". First workshop of "ROBOTRIX" held on 4 Feb. 2012 with an attendance of 120 students. The workshop was solicited by requested H.O.D. Mr. R.K.Pandey. Second workshop of "ROBOTRIX" CLUB held on 11 Feb. 2012 with 10 groups of 6 participants each. Enthusiastic students participated and made the event a huge success. The workshop was co-ordinated by chairperson Mr. Vaibhav Purwar.
  • Clubs activated under Electroglint Society : Different club has been activated under the hood of the society viz Academic club, Cultural club, Dramatics Club, Engineers club, Literary club, Musical club, Philanthropic club. Various activities have been organized & more are lined up to be organized under these club

   
       
   
       
   

CYBERSRISHTI

 

"CYBERSRISHTI" society of Computer Science & Engineering (Patron Ms. Shubha Jain) organized co-curricular activities like Debate (Winner Meenakshi Chhikara 4th Year), Extempore (Winner Mayank Tandon 4th Year), QUIZ Competition (Winner Vinay Kumar Verma 4th Year & Shrilekha Shukla 3rd Year), Collage (Winner Sonia Kapoor, Ruchi Gupta & Priya Kushwaha 1st Year), Hidden Talent Hunt (Winner Rohitashwa Tiwari 4th Year) & Poster Making (Winner Aishwarya Bajaj 1st Year) Competitions.

 

   
       

 

A workshop on Android was held on 14-15 Oct for the development of mobile applications in which more than 150 Students from different branches participated.

 

YANTRIKIANS

"YANTRIKIANS" society of Department of Mechanical Engineering (Convener Mr. A.S.Verma) decided the committee as Ayush Pandey(President) Shubham Chaturvedi & Anadi Mishra(Vice-President) & Mayank Shukla & Vineet Singh(Secretary).

The Society organized a Yantrikian week based on the concepts proposed by the society secretary Mr. Mayank Shukla from 13th-19th Feb. More than 600 Students from all the branches participated with great enthusiasm & zeal in different events that were organized during the week long sesion.

CELEBRATION OF 64th REPUBLIC DAY

Celebration for the 64th Republic Day began with freedom in Mind, Faith in Words, Pride in our Heart & Memories in our souls in the college premises. Republic Day is celebrated with much enthusiasm and gusto at KIT, Kanpur. The celebration started with the brisk flag hosting ceremony by the dignitaries. Patriotic songs and poems were sung. All the honourable management members were present on this auspicious event. The event was felicitated at the end with snacks & refreshments.

 

 

VISHWAKARMA PUJA

Lord Vishwakarma is the holy guider of the engineers. VISHWAKARMA PUJA was celebrated with much enthusiasm and zeal in the institute's Workshop. A puja & Yagya was performed in the workshop to mark the auspicious occasion. The puja ended with prasad distribution.

 

 

SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATIONS

Vasant Panchami is a Hindu Festival celebrating Saraswati, the goodness of knowledge, music and art. It is celebrated every year on the fifth day (Panchami) of the Indian month Magh (January-February), the first day of spring. on 4th February 2014, KIT Organized special prayer for Maa Saraswati at the Central Library followed by yagya and distribution of 'Prasad'. During the puja, the entire KIT family made resolutions to increase learning and to continue their journey on the path of wisdom and knowledge.

 

 

ABHIVYAKTI-14 (ANNUAL LITERARY ACTIVITIES)

Literary activities events "Abhivyakti" was organized to promote the participation of students in different literary events. Various events including Essay Writing, Debate, Extempore, Poster Making, Quiz Competition, Collage, Hidden Talent Hunt..were organized. Students participated enthusiastically in all the events.
