Anti Ragging Committee formed at KIT

KIT has formed an Anti-Ragging Committee & a Students Anti-Ragging Committee according to the mandatory requirements. Its main agenda is to prevent any sort of ragging i.e. either mental or physical that can be forced upon the students. The college management tries to ensure that the students are not ragged either within the college neither outside it. KIT follows a tradition that all the students i.e. the seniors and the freshers should behave like one big happy family and the question of ragging does not arise at all.

With a vision to develop a world class institution, kanpur institute of technology was established in 2004 by fully dedicated ambassadors of the society. Kanpur institute of technology and pharmacy is also being launched in the year 2009 by the same promising and devoted team, with the initiative to enrich the society with highly talented professionals in the field of pharmacy. It gives me immense pleasure and pride to introduce the young and vibrant KIT, kanpur that is committed to add the existing goodwill of its name and glory. From a modest beginning in 2004, kanpur institute of technology d has now grown in to fully integrated institute.KIT, promoted by IITians offers a wide range of education programmes i.e. B. tech degree in mechanical engineering. And computer science & engineering, information technology, electronics engineering and electronics and communication engineering. It also offers master degree programme in business administration and computer application under aegis of utter Pradesh technical university.

kanpur institute of technology and pharmacy, kanpur recognized the AICTE, MHRD, Govt. of India &affiliated to UPTU, lucknow is beginning in july 2009, it offers another carrer option for those who desire to contribute towards health care service. The education of pharmacy impact knowledge and skills necessary for pharmaceutical care.

The objective of imparting education, combined with creation, dissemination and application of knowledge are being met in an integrated from to create a synergetic impact. It inculcates human values and professional ethics in an integrated form to create a synergetic impact . it inculcates human values and professional ethics in the students which help them in taking decisions and creating path are good not only for them but also for the society, the nation and the world.

Digital Library at KIT

The library is fully automated with libsey (release 5.0 LAN version with web OPAC) and now houses about 25000 volume of books; all the books are bar-coded. The library subscribes to about 100 national/ international journals in print form, 95 in electronic through inter net , 17 magazines and at newspapers . A rich collection of CDs recognized & DVDs is also available for its users , the books in the library are classified according to the dewey decimal classification scheme 22nd addition and catalogued in MARC-21 format and manual form both by AACR-2 . the library is a member of DELNET\(developing library network). DELNET has about million catalogue records books , periodicals, articles, etc, available in machine-readable form. The library automated and networked in order to provide efficient reference service to its user can access our library throughs internet / intranet.
