ASSOCIATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL TEACHERS OF INDIA – In 1966, the pioneers of pharmacy education in India formed an association. The association was led by luminaries such as Prof. M. L. Schroff, Prof. G. P Srivastava, and others, and it has made significant progress in improving intercommunication and promoting quality in pharmacy education. The association, with its custom-tailored mission and objectives, has offered a single platform for bringing together pharmacy educators from around the country. Through the interchange of ideas among teaching members, this has aided in the accomplishment of high standards and the development of innovative technology approaches in pharmacy education. The association’s efforts to encourage and support its members in reaching such milestones have always been positively received. Every year, APTI holds conventions for pharmacy instructors in various regions of India to interact and remain current with them.
Since the previous fourteen years, KITP has been a center of innovation and distinction in pharmacy education. The Institute has developed and continues to bring about good improvements to train future pharmacists for an increased role in the healthcare profession as the requirements of society and the profession has changed. KITP, which is consistently ranked among the best private colleges of pharmacy, continues to be an innovative force in pharmacy education to address the requirements of a changing world. We now provide Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree. The student is provided the chance for all-around growth, a rich professional and social environment, space and technological assistance to develop innovations, and enormous help from teachers, opening the door to numerous options after graduation. Our key strength is our connections and relationships with the pharmaceutical business. We feel that on-site training is more important than theoretical seminars. On a regular basis, not only the students, but also the instructors, receive practical refresher training in the business. KITP provides an interesting and engaging atmosphere for students to pursue their academics while also participating in activities that will help them become successful individuals.
